Drama. Lies. Sex.
Welcome to Palm South University.
The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love get tossed in the mix?
Follow Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam as they tackle college at a small, private beach town university. Written in television drama form, each episode of this serial will pull you deeper and deeper into the world of PSU.
Where the sun is hot and the clothes are scarce, anything can happen.
“Stay with me tonight,” Hayden whispers into the back of my neck just as I pull a loose white t-shirt over my sports bra. He wraps his arms around my middle and pulls me back into him, pressing his hard on against my ass and forcing me to exhale a long, needy breath.
“I can’t,” I turn toward him, wrapping my arms around his neck. “I have class early in the morning and a sisterhood event tomorrow night. I have to get some sleep or I’m not going to make it.”
“Sleep is overrated.” He holds me tighter and nips up my neck to my earlobe, pulling it between his teeth. Hissing, I place my hands on his chest and try to put distance between us.
“You’re killing me.”
“I could be pleasuring you if you’d come home with me.”
Welcome back to episode three everyone! We are half way through the season and let’s just say that this episode is a doozy. The question on many of our minds is what is up with Ashlei? Well look no further to the first scene of the episode.
Who would have thought that not only could Asheli be a stripper but also that she is bisexual. I love that Kandi always makes each of her characters unique and this for sure makes Asheli stand out from her sisters. We find out that Ashlei is competing in a Pole Dance Event. I couldn’t imagine having to hide my secret life like Ashlei is having to do with her closest friends.
Oh Adam Adam Adam why do you make me swoon so much? In this episode we get see more of Adam and his passion that he has for his fraternity. When we meet Adam in Black Number Four he seems like a huge partier which he is but we see in this episode how much he wants to make a change for the better for his brotherhood. But what I love best about Adam is how swoons over Cassie McBee but then he feels like she is too innocent for him.
“Cassie is cute, I can’t deny that, and part of me wants to tell her we can move whatever party she wants to my bedroom.” And I’m over here screaming at my Kindle for him to kiss her already. (Can you tell what HEA I want to see?? Lol)
But nothing can be that simple in the world of Palm South University. There is always something in the way of a simple story… And this time it has to be Cassie’s big Skyler Thorne. It is hard for me to watch Adam play ping pong with the emotions of the Slip-n-slide sisters.
When we are introduced to Hayden in the first scene I didn’t get a good vibe from him and I knew eventually he was going to be trouble. Well it didn’t take long for him to show his true colors and show what a bad influence he was. I won’t spoil what happens here but my jaw dropped to the floor and I was shocked!
Here comes one of my favorite parts of the episode… We get a glimpse of the chemistry between Cassie and Adam at the party that he throws for the A Sigs. THEY FINALLY KISS! I was ecstatic that Kandi finally let them kiss but like a dog owner teasing the dog with a treat she jerks it away in a flash! And not only does Kandi take the treat away she feeds it to the next dog beside you and you sit there stunned and sad that you didn’t get what you wanted! Kandi I have to tell you that I really hated 89% cause I was like OH NO SHE DIDN”T!
Not only are we left on another Asheli cliff hanger we have to wonder what else is going to unfold in the next episode of PSU. So lets raise our glasses and party our asses off and enjoy the fact that we are half way through this season! Cheers bitches!
Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa with her husband. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.
Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).
When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.
